Guangdong Xinbao Electrical Appliances Holding Co., Ltd. (hereafter Company), which was established in 1995, has more than ten thousand employees including three thousand professional and technical personnel. The Company’s headquarter is located in Shunde, Guangdong province, with two production bases in Shunde and Chuzhou, Anhui province. The factories in Turkey, Brazil and Mexico are under construction. The Company has various specialized factories in producing motors, PCB, die-casting, plastic injection, hardware, mold, painting, printing etc, with over one million square meters of factory areas. Annual sales revenue of the Company is more than 5 billion yuan, with annual taxes exceeding 200 million Yuan. The Company has become one of the key enterprises in Shunde.
The Company is specialized in developing, designing, manufacturing and selling kitchen appliances, household appliances, electrical accessories and appliances for babies etc. There are mainly twelve product categories such as electric kettle, coffee maker, hand mixer, blender, toaster, bread maker, steam station and so on, which are over three thousand models. The Company also provides services such as market strategy, design research, product realization, mold research, product test certification, production technique research and brand design. It has built up diversified technological service system of small home appliances, which can fulfill the one-stop purchase demand of the international famous brands or retailers. The Company’s export volume has ranked No.1 in China for six years since 2007. The export amounts of electric kettle, blender, toaster, drip coffee machine also rank No.1 respectively. The sales of electric kettle have added up to more than 150 million pcs. Other products such as bread maker, iron, toaster oven and juicer are also in the top rank. Therefore, the Company has been well known as the Overseas Sales Champion and a famous Chinese enterprise in the global household appliances industry.
For years of development, the Company has attained good reputation and numerous customer resources. Long-term strategic business partnerships have been established with various international famous brands and retailers such as Jarden Group (leading brands are Oster, Sunbeam and Mr. Coffee), Hamilton Beach, Electrolux, Philips, Panasonic, Siemens, De’Longhi, Kenwood, Morphy Richards, SEB, Russell Hobbs, Lavazza and Delta. The products have entered over one hundred countries and districts, which are mainly exported to the developed countries such as Europe, America, Oceania and so on. In addition, the Company spares no effort to explore the new developing markets such as Brazil, Africa and Southeast Asia, and the growth is rapid. It has developed well-balanced sales network across the world. Meanwhile, with the core independent brand of Donlim, the Company has set up nationwide sales networks and cooperated closely with Carrefour, Gome, Suning, Tesco etc. There is also a breakthrough in new sales channels via the Internet and TV. The Company has achieved excellent sales on Taobao, 360Buy, Amazon etc. Therefore, Donlim has been awarded “Famous Brand of China” since 2011.
The Company has great independent R&D capability. It has been successively awarded the honor as “Key High-tech Enterprise of National Torch Programme”, “Private Technology Enterprise of Guangdong Province” and “Patent Pilot Enterprise of Guangdong Province” since 2004. The Company has set up “Heating & Motor-operated Small Home Appliances Engineering Technology R&D Center of Guangdong Province” and “Enterprise Technology Center of Guangdong Province”. More than 1,100 patents, which including over 100 invention patents, have been granted to the Company. It is a role model enterprise of intellectual property rights.
The Company is also strong in the innovative design. The products have been continuously awarded “China Innovative Product Design Awards of Red Star Award”, “China Design Patent Competition Award” and “IFA Award”. The system of product test certification has been established in the Company. With various tests and certification of international standard, the products can be widely sold across the world. The Company owns over 5,000 certification, including CCC, UL, ETL, CE and GS. Moreover, laboratories for safety test, reliability test, physical & chemical test, environment test and equipment measure have got the accreditation of CNAS. The Company also has good cooperation relationship with many certification agencies home and aboard and has been accredited by ITS, UL, TUV, SGS, BV, CSA, VDE etc. The Company has been the director of drafting the national standard of electric kettle performance requirement and test methods since Nov 2006. It also plays a leading role in drafting the national standards of other small home appliances such as coffee maker, bread maker and toaster. Besides, the Company has successively passed the certification of ISO9002, ISO9001, QC080000, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001, which has made the Company become more and more competitive in the international market.
In addition, the Company attaches great importance to the integrated technological cooperation between industries, universities and research institutes. It has cooperated with many famous national universities such as Sun Yat-sen University and Jilin University to develop a variety of projects. Besides, the Company set up Donlim Institute in 2004. By means of cooperating with famous universities, the Company has built up a channel of “talent-ladder establishment”, “ideal career”, “qualification certification” and “internal training as the priority” for educating talents within the Company.
